New with FlowLyne: background noise for even more natural conversations

What does a professional phone call sound like? For some, it's the crystal-clear voice of an assistant - for others, there's something missing: the typical office ambience in the background. That's why FlowLyne now has a new feature that allows everyone to decide for themselves whether and how loud background noise should be played.

Why background noise at all?

Some of our users have mirrored us:

"The line sounds so quiet - is anyone there at all?"

Especially in situations where a real person is expected, a completely silent line can be perceived as unnatural or even irritating. Slight background noises - such as typing on a keyboard, muffled voices in the background or the occasional clacking of an office chair - help to make the conversation seem more authentic and human.

How the new feature works

From now on you can in your FlowLyne account:

  • Activate or deactivate office background noises

  • Adjust the volume individually - from barely audible to clearly perceptible

You can find the option in the settings area of your assistant under "Voice & speech > Background noises".

Why we focus on customizability

What is pleasant for one person may be annoying for another. That is why we have deliberately decided not to enforce a default setting, but to offer maximum flexibility:

✅ You decide whether you prefer a quiet conversation or a lively office atmosphere.
✅ You adjust the volume to suit your target group and your communication environment.
✅ You can change the settings at any time with just one click.

Summary:
With the new office background noises, conversations with your FlowLyne assistant now sound even more natural - if you want them to. A small detail with a big impact on your callers' listening experience.
